Keep those trick-or-treating gremlins warm with a cup of Halloween pumpkin punch, served straight from the pumpkin, and make it the centerpiece of a Halloween party. After you're done, you can carve the pumpkin or turn it into pumpkin pie!
Ingredients
- 1 medium to large pumpkin, hollowed
- 1 L or 2 1⁄8 pt apple juice
- 350 mL or 11 ¾ fl oz pineapple juice
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 apple
- 1 tbsp whole cloves
Things You'll Need
- 1 melon ball scoop
- 1 saucepan
- 1 ladle
- 1 hollowed pumpkin
Steps
- Form little balls from the apple using a melon ball scoop.
- Place the apple balls into a bowl.
- Spike each ball through the center with a clove.
- Combine the apple juice, pineapple juice, lemon juice, apple balls and the cinnamon stick in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Give it a quick stir and allow it to heat for only a few minutes. Remove it from the heat and let it cool (unless you want to serve it warm).
- Pour the punch into the hollowed pumpkin and serve!
